Are you an experienced Safety Professional looking to take your career to the next level? We’re seeking a proactive, dedicated leader to head our safety initiatives and ensure a secure, compliant work environment across diverse construction operations.
What You’ll Do
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs in alignment with OSHA standards and industry best practices.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to integrate safety protocols at every stage of construction.
Educate employees on workplace safety, risk management, and emergency response practices.
Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve future safety performance.
Stay up to date with changes in OSHA regulations, NEC standards, and other relevant legislation.
Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations, including workers’ compensation requirements.
Keep accurate records of safety training, incidents, inspections, and compliance documentation.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
5+ years of experience in construction safety management, with a proven track record in safety leadership.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, compliance management, and risk assessment.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with construction management software and EHS tools.
Certifications:
OSHA 500 or BCSP Certification (required); additional certifications like CSP, CHST are preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
Communication:
Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across various teams.
Experience in Any of the Following Sectors
Data centers, semiconductor facilities, vehicle manufacturing, electrical substations, solar and wind farms, pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Construction trades such as electrical, mechanical, excavation, cranes & rigging, steel erection, etc.
Bonus Points
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
