The Clinical Director is responsible for:

The oversight of clinical and case management services delivered atdesignated site or program(s)

Ensuring thatclinical services are being delivered in accordance with Spectrum’sclinical philosophy and design, in accordance with evidence-basedpractices

Working closely withthe Contract Support Manager and ECSD management staff to ensure smooth operation, the delivery of quality services, and the coordination of allclinical services

Observing groupfacilitation for each supervisee and completes Group Quality Inventory toensure performance meets Spectrum standards

Maintainingcomprehensive current clinical skills, competencies, licensure andcertification as required

Working closely withSpectrum management and staff to ensure a seamless continuum of carewithin Spectrum’s various treatment modalities

Providing orientation for newly hired clinicians

Ensuring that theinterdisciplinary treatment planning, case reviews and conferences arebeing conducted and documented per Spectrum’s protocols

Developing anongoing staff development and training plan for clinical staff incoordination with the Contract Support Manager and other Clinical Directors

Assisting with crisismanagement and other emergencies as needed

Maintaining adequateknowledge of the programs’ emergency preparedness plan and emergency procedures

Qualifications:

Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field required

Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Mental Health Counselor or closely related license in the fields of addiction or mental health required

Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in counseling preferred

Minimum of three years experience in a substance abuse, mental health, or other related behavioral health program required

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred

Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
