About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Security Specialist for our Corporate IT team. The role focuses on enhancing our organizational security posture and provides security‑focused on‑site (in our San Francisco Office) and remote technical support. You will administer and secure identity, endpoint, and collaboration systems (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, MDM) with a strong emphasis on least privilege and security framework controls. Your responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining security controls through monitoring, phishing simulations, incident response, automation, and root cause analysis while balancing user productivity and maintaining audit‑ready documentation.
What You’ll Work On
Administer and automate core identity and access management systems (Okta SSO, Workflows, SAML/OIDC) and collaboration platforms (Google Workspace, Slack) to enforce least privilege and secure authentication.
Implement, operate, and mature critical security controls including asset inventory, secure configuration, access control reviews, and continuous monitoring.
Secure and manage endpoints and enterprise hardware/software through MDM and configuration baselines, ensuring alignment with CIS requirements.
Design and deploy workflow automation to improve IT operations and enforce controls across systems.
Provide high‑quality remote and on‑site technical support, including advanced troubleshooting, AV setup, and data‑driven analysis of complex issues.
Lead and execute security‑focused initiatives, such as framework rollout, control validation, and process improvements. Support change management and communicate risks to stakeholders.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for support interactions, system designs, procedures, and workflows.
Serve as an incident responder within a rotating on‑call schedule, triaging alerts and implementing preventative measures.
Your Areas Of Expertise
Proactive problem solving with a strong sense of teamwork and accountability.
4–6+ years of experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, Information Security initiatives.
Expert knowledge of Okta, Google Workspace Admin, and Slack administration.
Strong expertise in MDM systems and maintaining on‑site IT support environments.
Experience implementing compliance frameworks and dedicated to security.
Proficient in designing, documenting, and automating scalable systems and processes.
Excellent analytical reasoning and complex technical troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Bonus Skills
Experience with security frameworks such as SOC2, CIS.
Compensation & Benefits The base pay range for this position is
$128,000 - $171,000
per year. This range represents base pay only and does not include additional cash compensation such as bonuses.
