Senior Transit Project Manager

seeks an experienced Senior Transit Project Manager to support a variety of projects in the West Region, working out of our San Francisco office in a hybrid model. This role involves planning and delivering high‑impact transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, transit, and multimodal roadway systems.
What You Will Do As Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for FTA/FRA funded projects, you will coordinate and review the work of engineers and planners across disciplines to design and plan major transportation infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
Support project pursuit strategy, capture, and development in the Transit and Rail Sector.
Serve as Project Manager with involvement in client development, project delivery, and overall client satisfaction.
Supervise and ensure quality of projects assigned, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Assist in business development and contribute to firm growth.
Provide staff leadership, plan, organize, and supervise staff work.
Mentor and develop team members for transit projects.
Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and industry participation.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, planning, or related field.
Minimum 15 years of management experience in transit/rail/bus/facility infrastructure planning and design.
Experience with transit projects from concept through development.
Experience in alternative delivery of transit projects.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
Master’s degree preferred.
