Scope of Job: The BI Data Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data architectures that support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting across the organization. This role bridges the gap between data engineering and strategic decision‑making, ensuring data is structured, accessible, and aligned to business goals.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
Select and implement BI platforms and data warehouses; build scalable data models.
Design and maintain enterprise-level BI architecture and data models.
Develop and manage ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Collaborate with IT colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
Optimize BI systems for performance and scalability.
Maintain documentation for data structures, transformations, and lineage.
Support integration of new data sources and BI tools.
Provide technical guidance and best practices for BI development.
Collaborate with production and support departments to ensure food safety and the quality of our products.
Other duties as assigned.
Education Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
Experience 3+ years’ experience in BI, data engineering, or data analytics. Hands‑on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Azure) and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Fabric).
