Director/Senior Director, Customer Success Management Core Clouds (Auto/Energy & Utilities) Join Salesforce as a Director/Senior Director of Customer Success Management for our Core Clouds portfolio across the Auto and Energy & Utilities industries. In this role you will lead a team of Customer Success Managers (CSMs), drive the strategy and growth of our Signature Success Plan, and partner with sales, renewals, and sellers to ensure enterprise customers achieve success and value from Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow a high‑performing team of Customer Success Managers, fostering a culture of customer impact and value delivery.

Own the strategy for Signature Success Plan fulfillment and growth across teams, aligning closely with Territory, Renewals, and Success Plan sellers.

Partner with sales, renewals, and partners to execute renewal and upsell strategies for Signature Success Plan across all portfolio teams.

Develop and communicate a clear view of Signature value and partnership opportunities to grow the plan within Auto or Energy & Utilities portfolios.

Manage capacity planning, forecasting, and resource allocation to support Signature obligations and alignment with cloud resources.

Monitor and drive key performance indicators, including Customer Health, CSPS, and overall delivery metrics.

Support enterprise customers in the Auto or Energy & Utilities industries, staying current on industry trends, risks, and opportunities.

Drive talent management, career development, and retention for the success team.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in customer success, advisement, and managing a team.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data, market intelligence, and customer feedback into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.

Proven track record in talent management, recruitment, and retention.

Deep familiarity with Salesforce’s product portfolio, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Automotive Cloud, Field Service, Energy & Utilities Cloud, and Agentforce.

Experience supporting enterprise customers in Auto or Energy & Utilities industries.

Benefits & Compensation Competitive base salary range of $168,600 - $315,900 annually, plus incentive compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid parental leave, 401(k), and employee stock program. This role is office‑flexible with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week.
