The Accounts Receivable / Deduction Analyst will be able to apply cash, collect past due invoices, clear non-Trade deductions and assist the Manager with any projects or analytics. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Research and resolve Non Trade customer deductions including overages, reclamations, damages, freight, product returns and other non-promotional deductions. Through research on customer portals, agreements, or remittance advices, identify invalid customer deductions and develop a specific plan to recoup any amounts owed and prevent future invalid deductions. Effectively organize, save, and attach supporting documentation to help report and validate deductions. Assist with audit requests and other projects as needed. Job Requirements and Qualifications
Ability to calculate, post, and manage necessary accounting figures and financial records. Exceptional aptitude for working with numbers and technology. Ability to understand, document and improve end processes. Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Highly detail-oriented, organized, analytical, efficient, and accurate. Ability to solve problems, set priorities, and work collaboratively toward issue resolution, including ability to change and adapt to emerging and urgent issues. (Strong critical thinker.) Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn and navigate ERP systems. Experience with Adobe (editing and combining PDF documents). Strong team player. Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably Accounting or Finance. Seniority level
