Base Pay Range $115,000.00/yr – $140,000.00/yr
About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Special Projects to lead and deliver high-impact initiatives within the commercial space. Based in Seattle, WA, this role focuses on managing complex, fast-moving projects that fall outside standard operational workflows. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, excels at cross‑functional collaboration, and consistently drives projects from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of special commercial projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans
Coordinate cross‑functional teams including internal stakeholders, vendors, consultants, and contractors
Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication and reporting
Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
Manage procurement, contracts, and vendor performance as needed
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Prepare executive‑level status updates and post‑project evaluations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of project management experience within commercial environments
Proven experience managing special or non‑routine projects
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Experience working in or supporting projects in the Seattle market is a plus
Preferred Skills & Certifications
Experience with commercial real estate, construction, tenant improvements, or large‑scale commercial initiatives
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar)
