Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive technical solutions that address business challenges and align with organizational objectives
Create architecture designs, system diagrams, and technical documentation outlining the structure, components, and integration points of the solution
Choose the appropriate technology stack, considering project constraints, performance, scalability, and cost‑effectiveness
Provide technical guidance and direction to development teams throughout the project lifecycle
Clearly communicate technical solutions and their impact to stakeholders, including business and technical teams
Identify and mitigate potential risks within the solution design, such as scalability challenges, security vulnerabilities, and integration issues
Perform performance analysis on implemented solutions and identify areas for optimization
Document best practices and share knowledge with other team members
Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to the solution
Oversee the solution's lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, and enhancement
Ensure solutions adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and organizational policies
Work closely with various teams, including Technical Project Managers, Engineers, and Scrum masters, to ensure successful solution delivery
Makes independent decisions on complex architectural challenges, solution design, and long‑term technical vision within their area of expertise
Significantly influences strategic architectural decisions for the organization
Escalates major strategic decisions or significant technical challenges to senior leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
15+ years of experience in relevant programming languages, software development principles, and a proven track record of leading large‑scale architectural initiatives
Experience in building and leading high‑performing architect teams is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
