Job Description Manage and assist in the completion of day‑to‑day activities, including maintenance of building/facility, equipment and machinery such as HVAC, building lighting systems, production lines, grounds keeping and overall facility appearance. Coordinate and oversee employees who repair and maintain building/facility, equipment and machinery. Manage the engineering, design and installation phases of new equipment, line upgrades and other capital projects. Oversee preventative/predictive maintenance and Maintenance Work Order Systems. Create and manage budgets related to facility, repair and labor. Work with Cornerstone’s Core Values: Safety, Integrity, Innovation and Teamwork.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Provide technical support to ensure the factory operates safely, at the highest quality level and lowest possible cost.

Support the plant in achieving budgeted labor efficiency MPO/UPMH.

Oversee construction and repair projects.

Manage the work order system designed to establish priority and control over maintenance requests from plant personnel, ensuring timely completion.

Arrange procurement of outside contractors for specific maintenance and repair assignments.

Develop and maintain Preventive Maintenance Schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery.

Develop and manage the plant Capital and Capacity plans, ensuring on‑time and within‑budget execution; prepare budgets and secure estimates and cost quotes as needed.

Manage spare parts inventory.

Responsible for engineering, design and modification/installation of existing and/or new capital equipment.

Compile and maintain drawings and records on plant facility.

Ensure compliance with federal and state laws.

Leads by example and imposes all safety and operational procedures; promote and ensure a safe working environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards by coaching and guiding associates on safety procedures and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements

BS Degree in Engineering

8+ years of experience in an Engineering Management role

3+ years people management experience

Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience

Lean skills including Kaizen, Standardized Work, VSM, etc.

Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CMMS

Strong data analysis skills

Experience with AutoCAD

Physical Demands

Walk and sit; use fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel; talk and hear; bend at waist.

Stand on hard surfaces; sit for long periods; climb or balance.

Specific vision abilities including close, color, peripheral and depth perception; adjust and focus.

Lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 49 pounds with proper equipment and assistance.

Subject to fluctuating temperatures within the work facility, impacted by weather.

Work Environment Cornerstone is committed to ensuring the health and safety of their workforce. This job is performed in a non‑air‑conditioned work environment, where the candidate may occasionally be exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise. The position requires working near powered industrial trucks, equipment and near moving mechanical parts. Personal protective equipment is required and must be worn as directed, with adherence to all facility environmental, safety and health rules and requirements.
