Sr Manager CoBrand Program We're seeking a dynamic Sr Manager CoBrand Program to lead one of Southwest Airlines' most important growth engines: our multi-billion-dollar Rapid Rewards Co-Brand credit card portfolio. In this high-impact role, you'll guide strategy, drive acquisitions and customer retention, and spearhead digital optimization to expand and strengthen the program. You'll oversee a talented team of managers and individual contributors, ensuring flawless execution of go-to-market campaigns while delivering measurable portfolio growth. As the leader accountable for financial performance, you'll manage annual operating plans, track KPIs, and present results to executive audiences. Beyond numbers, you'll shape innovation through product development, technology initiatives, creative campaigns, and customer insights. You'll also serve as the key partner to Chase and Visa, building strong external relationships while fostering collaboration across Southwest. Just as importantly, you'll inspire and develop your team, cultivating a culture where people thrive and deliver their best. This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity with direct influence on Southwest's revenue, loyalty, and brand success.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of product, portfolio, and channel strategists, go-to-market execution professionals, and technology project managers in achieving financial goals related to credit card acquisition, existing customer growth, retention, and performance

Oversee credit card portfolio, inclusive of new product / benefit development for a suite of seven financial products, and their go-to-market campaign launches to ensure long-term strategic portfolio revenue and growth

Lead the CoBrand Program technology and testing / optimization roadmap, with digital and technology partners, to develop capabilities and program optimization to add incremental acquisitions, cardmember spend, and improved CX

Partner with financial teams on the forecasting, ROIs, budgets, and business performance of portfolio and acquisition goals, and other growth initiatives

Oversee strategies for customer retention and engagement, to monitor, enhance, and report KPIs that are unique to a financial services program health such as customer spend, spend / cardmember, save rates, month on book lifecycle, attrition, NPS, debit active rate, etc.

Manage partner relationships with Chase and Visa, leading quarterly business review meetings, partnering on the development and execution of CoBrand marketing and product strategy for the portfolio

Define and oversee digital and analytical learning agenda to understand strategic drivers and insights that facilitate campaign development, enhancements, and optimizations to drive growth across products, channels, the portfolio, and customer engagement

May perform other job duties as directed by employee's leaders

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Advanced knowledge of credit card portfolio management, consumer financial services, banking, payments industry, as well as financial or credit card product development

Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, digital direct response marketing, and sales control systems

Skilled in both acquisitions marketing and existing customer marketing, channel management and campaign planning

Skilled in strategic program growth, financials, and partnership management

Skilled in strategic thinking, and marketing strategy

Skilled in product development, digital / mobile marketing, project and product management

Skilled in contract management and negotiation

Skilled in business case development, cost / benefit trade-offs, and return on investment analyses

Skilled in communicating effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, influencing outcomes, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats

Education

Required : High School Diploma or GED

Experience

Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)

Fully functioning, broad knowledge in :

Portfolio and product management

Acquisitions marketing, channel management, and campaign go-to-market

Customer marketing

Technical and digital roadmap, optimization, and project management

Expert skills in strategic program growth, financials, and partnership management

Consumer banking or financial services

Licensing / Certification

Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation / desk / office area for extended periods of time

Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per company appearance standards as described in established guidelines

Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to comply with company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits Competitive market salary from $160,550 - $178,400* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
