We are seeking to hire a Branch Manager with at least 3 years of sales experience and 5 years of leadership/management experience in a large, fast‑paced environment for our Rochester branch. This position will lead local operations at this location, the Holley branch, and the Dansville branch. Department management includes inside sales, outside sales, counter sales, and warehouse teams. We are looking for high performers who are forward‑looking, innovative, enthusiastic, and ambitious team players. Responsibilities
Provide leadership for branch operations, including overall supervision of approximately 70‑80 employees. Manage overall operations of all three branch locations, including hiring, coaching, training, and scheduling employees to ensure efficient operation and excellent customer service. Ensure buildings, office, and grounds are maintained in safe, professional conditions. Build and maintain an engagement environment by listening to feedback and implementing solutions. Address and resolve employee or customer issues. Partner with Human Resources to address employee conflicts and corrective actions. Monitor and manage financial performance and overall profitability of all branches. Develop strategic and tactical plans to grow branch revenue and profit. Identify opportunities to grow sales by developing new customers and broadening product line penetration. Maintain adequate inventory levels, promote sales, and maximize net profit while meeting strategic goals. Analyze branch data, identify opportunities, and implement continuous improvement solutions. Requirements
At least 3 years of operations or sales experience, with 5 years in a leadership/management position. Prior experience within HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industries strongly preferred. Prior P&L experience with aspects of managing sales and operations highly desired. Multi-location management highly desired. Detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills. Ability to lead and empower individuals and teams. Ability to organize, prioritize, multi‑task and effectively lead through stressful situations. Proven track record of using data and metrics to implement effective solutions. Demonstrated success in problem solving and delivering results. Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external audiences. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn internal ERP system. Must be able to undergo a motor vehicle and background check and meet company standards. Must have reliable daily transportation to all three branch locations. Work Environment/Physical Demands
Primarily a clerical office setting but requires frequent presence in a high‑traffic warehouse exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Standard office equipment is used. Requires ability to stand, walk extended periods, and lift 50‑75 pounds. While hours are standard, flexibility is required to complete all daily branch functions. Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
