CNC Machinist/Programmer – Opti Staffing Group

We supply a wide range of materials—from stainless steel to exotic alloys—and offer in‑house processing services using advanced equipment such as water jets, lasers, plasma cutters, and CNC press brakes. Responsibilities
Take customer requests, devise the most efficient manufacturing approach, and prepare accurate quotes for the sales team.
Program CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam 2025 to produce high‑precision parts from metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, nickel, and other exotic alloys.
Create setup instructions, tool lists, and fixtures so other machinists can run jobs correctly the first time.
Perform hands‑on machining—setting up, running, and inspecting parts—and lead other machinists through training, delegation, and safety oversight.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to make processes faster, more accurate, and more cost‑effective while meeting AS9100 quality standards.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of CNC programming experience and solid knowledge of Mastercam 2025.
Strong understanding of G & M codes and proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Minimum 8 years of machining experience with mills and lathes, and familiarity with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, nickel, and other exotic alloys.
Leadership and communication skills for training and guiding a small team of machinists.
Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and a focus on safety and quality.
Experience in a fast‑paced industrial environment and competency with precision measuring tools.
Benefits
Competitive pay: $50–$60 per hour, DOE.
Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
