Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Mid Level .NET Engineer.
Responsibilities
Application & API Development:
Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET applications and APIs using best practices
Troubleshoot, update, and enhance existing software, demonstrating ownership and sound design decisions
Ensure software quality through rigorous testing, debugging, and documentation
Collaboration & Delivery:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product management, QA, and infrastructure-to deliver software that meets user requirements
Participate in Agile ceremonies to support iterative development and continuous improvement
Utilize Azure DevOps, Git, and Visual Studio for CI/CD, version control, and development activities
Technical Leadership & Standards:
Support peer learning and share technical expertise to help elevate team capabilities
Promote security, reliability, and compliance across software solutions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant field
3+ years of experience in .NET development using C#
Experience writing APIs
Understanding of database concepts and SQL
Working knowledge of the C# language, Visual Studio, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
Experience with object‑oriented programming principles and design patterns
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git
Experience with Azure cloud services
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Experience using Postman and Swagger
Experience with observability tools such as Datadog
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
