The Team We, the Systems R&D team in the Aerospace, Defense and Government (ADG) Unit focus on the design and development of components and systems in key application areas including avionics, communications, navigation, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Electronic Warfare (EW) and RADAR by using NI's portfolio of PXI RF instruments, modular FPGA co-processors, software-defined radios (USRP products), and software tools (LabVIEW, LabVIEW FPGA, open source). We build IP at different levels to offer outstanding system-level solutions.

The ADG Systems R&D Team is seeking an experienced engineer to work on high frequency RF products. The primary responsibilities of this position are to work with engineering teams to define, document, design, deploy and sustain NI-branded products tailored to meet specific customer requirements for engineering solutions. The ideal candidate has a background and knowledge regarding RF circuit and electromagnetic theory. This RF Hardware Engineer position is a multi-functional role dealing with diverse engineering needs, including the ability to gather requirements, generate specification documents, interface with manufacturing partners, and meet with internal personnel to design, deploy and sustain solutions worldwide. Come join our team!

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Design and simulate RF/microwave circuits, design complete system products, and validate designs using measurement instrumentation

Manage the lifecycle of products under development

Own and implement individual technical project deliverables, guide technical decisions and drive technical issues to resolution
