Perform examinations, diagnostics, and treatment for small animal patients
Manage routine surgical and dental procedures
Educate clients on care plans, preventive medicine, and treatment options
Maintain a positive, team‑oriented clinic environment
Collaborate with and mentor veterinary technicians and assistants
Contribute to medical protocols and standards of care
Maintain accurate medical records within the practice’s EHR system
What We’re Looking For
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited institution
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Virginia
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
Compassionate approach to patient and client care
Ability to collaborate in a supportive clinical environment
Preferred Skills
Two or more years of experience preferred (new grads welcome with mentorship)
Proficiency in routine surgery and dentistry
Experience with ultrasound is a plus
Interest in emergency medicine, acupuncture, or rehabilitation is a plus
Desire to continue growing clinically and contribute to a team‑first culture
