Site Reliability Engineer – Amtex Systems Inc.
Location: 500 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48226
Role is onsite.
Responsibilities
Design scalable, highly available systems that meet business requirements.
Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks with Python or Bash.
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch and Dynatrace observability tool.
Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide on‑call support as necessary.
Document architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures for internal and client use.
Work closely with software developers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver cloud solutions.
Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services: IAM, Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB.
Proficiency in cloud provisioning tools: AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.
Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
Experience designing and implementing alerts and dashboards using Dynatrace observability tool.
Ability to document architecture and operational procedures.
Must showcase AWS, Ansible, Terraform, and Python on resume.
