This organisation is a specialist engineering and manufacturing provider focused on highly engineered mechanical systems for critical aviation and aerospace applications. It designs and produces advanced access control hardware used across commercial and defence aircraft programmes, operating in demanding environments and under significant structural loads. The Planner role exists to ensure sales orders are fulfilled on time by coordinating material availability, production flow and shipment planning. The Planner will take full ownership of assigned product lines, using sound judgement and strong MRP knowledge to manage shortages, protect delivery schedules and support operational performance. Responsibilities

Analysing new orders to confirm material requirements and availability using MRP Quoting and maintaining accurate shipment dates based on supplier and production lead times Expediting material and parts through manufacturing and external vendors to resolve shortages Controlling allocation of incoming materials to meet priority delivery commitments Communicating material status and risks with operations and business unit stakeholders Qualifications

At least four years of planning experience within a manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of MRP systems, production processes and procurement functions The ability to manage conflicting priorities through clear communication and collaboration Experience developing shipment schedules and monitoring supply flow risks High attention to detail with a proactive and accountable working style The organisation consistently exceeds expectations through operational precision, combining disciplined processes with proactive quality controls to deliver dependable results.
