Associate Veterinarian
Our client is a full-service, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital located in Acworth, Georgia. Housed in a modern, purpose-built facility, the hospital is dedicated to delivering progressive, individualized veterinary care. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their skilled and supportive team.
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The schedule offers a structured workweek with weekend coverage limited to Saturdays.
Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a varied caseload that includes wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, surgical procedures, urgent care, and advanced treatments such as laser therapy, oncology, internal medicine, and pain management. The role requires a commitment to high standards of medicine and personalized client communication.
The hospital spans 10,000 square feet and features six exam rooms, a dedicated dental suite, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, and modern diagnostic equipment including radiography, ultrasound, tonometry, and anesthetic monitoring systems. Services offered include soft tissue surgeries, mass removals, laser therapy, OFA certification, dermatology, and nutritional counseling, alongside comprehensive wellness and urgent care.
Team The team consists of four veterinarians supported by a hospital manager, an associate hospital manager, 13 veterinary assistants, an RVT with 15 years of experience, four customer service representatives, eight kennel staff, and an on-site groomer. The environment is well-staffed and structured, with a collaborative and professionally enriching culture.
