Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Agile POD team to convert legacy Java Swing screens into modern Angular 19 user interfaces.
Develop responsive, user-friendly Angular front-end components using TypeScript, ensuring fidelity to the existing Swing screen functionality.
Work alongside backend developers to integrate and consume REST APIs that replace legacy backend services.
Analyze legacy Java Swing code to understand screen behavior and translate that into Angular designs.
Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within the Agile team to deliver iterative improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues during the migration process to ensure smooth user experience.
Maintain clear communication with cross-functional team members, sharing progress and challenges on a regular basis.
Document front-end design decisions and best practices to support future maintenance and development.
Description:
Team will be converting old legacy screens (swing client, Java) to Angular. (don’t need to know backend – just front end)
This project is to take a large number of “internal” Java Swing screens and migrate them into our Angular user interface. The work will be taking legacy code and converting into REST APIs as well as legacy screen code into Angular screens.

Skills Required:
Typescript, Angular 19, Java (Good to have).
Must be familiar with Java Swing, REST APIs (Highly preferred).
