Responsibilities

Move fast, consistently sourcing, tracking, and maintaining a high volume of candidates while communicating with stakeholders.

Establish deep trust and partnership with business leaders to influence talent strategy and execute hiring deliverables.

Build trust through consistency and a strong operating rhythm in partnership with cross‑functional stakeholders to scale growth.

Embed yourself into the business to understand product positioning, technical roadmap, and team culture.

Develop a strong understanding of the mission while learning how to pitch the team and opportunity, closing exceptional technical talent.

Track and analyze pipeline and performance data to identify areas of opportunity and create a data‑driven narrative that increases momentum.

Build recruiting strategies that support long‑term growth, implementing best practices around referrals and process improvements.

Act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval, data extraction, web‑scraping, continuous process improvement, process automation, and candidate management.

Conduct interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview‑to‑offer ratios.

Engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Boolean strings, referral, and SOBO campaigns.

Drive diversity hiring initiatives to ensure a diverse slate of candidates while supporting internal DEI efforts.

Provide a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process with proactive communication and engagement.

Required Qualifications

6+ years recruiting and sourcing for technical roles, closing top‑tier engineering talent (startup/software preferred).

Experience hiring across all facets of engineering—software, hardware, or both.

4+ years of client interaction, including working with Hiring Managers and Directors, taking new requirements, reviewing profiles, and updating pipeline progress.

Experience acting consultatively, leading to improved outcomes and a positive candidate experience, earning respect from peers and clients.

Strong understanding of the technical skills and experience required for engineering positions within the business.

Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit.

Experience managing various funnels of candidates and tracking progress throughout the recruitment process.

Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.

Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.

Familiarity with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.

Compensation US Hourly Range:

$55—$75 USD
