Responsibilities
Lead the new Gerlach Endowed Chair position and oversee all aspects of the program.
Build and direct a world‑class team of investigators with complementary expertise in neurogenetics, epilepsy surgery, and/or health services research.
Advance the scientific understanding of epileptic disorders through high‑impact research, teaching, and clinical practice.
Develop and secure external research funding and foster collaborations with national and international partners.
Qualifications
Doctorate (PhD, MD/PhD) in a relevant field; successful completion of a background check required.
Significant experience in epilepsy research, with a strong publication record and evidence of successful grant acquisition.
Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and a commitment to teaching and clinical service.
Ability to comply with pre‑employment physical and drug‑screening requirements.
