About the Role
We’re in relentless pursuit of breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. This position is located in the U.S. Commercial organization within the Global Hospital & Biosimilars group and focuses on the Inflammation & Immunology (I&I) and Oncology biosimilars (BSM) portfolios, with net revenue of approximately $0.9B.
Responsibilities
Own accountability for P&L of the portfolio and manage a team of 3‑4 colleagues.
Lead the development and execution of strategic and operating plans, forecasts, and lifecycle strategies for the portfolio.
Make pricing and contracting decisions and balance trade‑offs with provider, payer, and GPO partners to support long‑range forecast development.
Approve marketing and promotional materials, messaging, and training for all portfolio products.
Partner with U.S. Commercial teams (Hospital Portfolio, Pricing & Commercial Operations, Sales & Customer Facing, Marcom, Customer Enablement, Contracting, Rebate Operations), Global teams (Finance, Manufacturing, Lifecyle Management, Commercial Excellence, Innovation), and key functions (USMA, Policy & Government Relations, Medical, etc.) to deliver business plans and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Navigate a highly matrixed environment to ensure alignment with business objectives and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain robust financial forecasting reflecting market dynamics, payer/provider contracting, ASP trajectory, supply availability, and margins.
Develop performance metrics (profitability, revenue, market share, growth in key channels, gross‑to‑net) and collaborate across the organization to monitor and optimize performance.
Anticipate regulatory changes, partner with federal policy teams to advance advocacy for biosimilar access.
Act as U.S. BSM lead for collaborations with Celltrion (Inflectra) and represent U.S. interests with Stada and Vifor (Retacrit).
Partner with Portfolio & Lifecycle Management to shape R&D investments and identify new product and business opportunities.
Support business development analyses and valuation of potential acquisitions or in‑licensing opportunities; ensure successful integration of acquired assets.
Oversee market launch preparations and support for the portfolio.
Engage and inspire colleagues to commit to business deliverables and foster a culture of ownership and high performance.
Model Pfizer values and contribute to a high‑performance culture by proactively identifying new opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
12+ years U.S. commercial pharmaceutical experience with direct P&L and transactionally‑driven multi‑source business leadership.
Deep familiarity with U.S. access landscapes, including payer, provider, GPO, and pricing dynamics.
Strong experience with contracting, financial management, and commercial strategy development.
Customer‑centric mindset with flexible, nimble execution to deliver mutual value.
High emotional intelligence, poise, and business maturity for confidential information and senior‑level influence.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, learn quickly, and drive results.
Track record of presenting strategic and operational plans to senior leadership.
Excellent interpersonal, conflict‑management, and negotiation skills with stakeholder relationship building.
Proven people‑management success in marketing or portfolio oversight.
Strong analytical capabilities and clear communication of complex issues.
Experience collaborating with senior‑level customers and external stakeholders.
Broad knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical environments.
Strategic cross‑functional leadership experience.
Hands‑on experience with financial analytics, forecasting, and business proposals.
BA/BS degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior team leadership experience.
Expertise in U.S. payer, provider, and pricing landscapes.
Advanced degree preferred.
Location Primary: New York (City) – other U.S. locations are possible.
Compensation & Benefits Annual base salary: $204,700.00 – $341,100.00. Eligible for Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan (bonus target 22.5% of base) and a share‑based long‑term incentive program. Comprehensive benefits include 401(k) with matching, pension contributions, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, caregiver/parental leave, medical, prescription, dental, and vision coverage. Benefits vary by location.
