Description Leidos is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Director to lead a high‑performing team, drive meaningful changes, and provide significant impact to the organization. This role will support the Air Traffic Business Area within the Homeland Sector and report to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. This role will be in Gaithersburg, MD with a hybrid schedule (4 days on‑site and 1 day remote). This HR Leader will align the people strategy with business priorities, advise leaders on complex workforce issues, drive organizational effectiveness, manage risk, and deliver scalable HR solutions through strong partnership and leadership. Primary Responsibilities

Advises senior leaders on complex people‑related matters, including workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness Partners closely with leaders, using strong business acumen and data to influence decisions, challenge assumptions, and deliver practical HR solutions that drive results Designs and drives leadership development, organizational design, and change management efforts to ensure the organization is structured, skilled, and ready to execute Leads HR team and collaborates across Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated, scalable HR programs; develop HR talent and model a “one HR” approach Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership support in a federal contracting environment Strong business acumen, employee relations expertise, and experience delivering talent and organizational solutions Excellent communication, consultation, and executive‑level presentation skills Come break things (in a good way).
