Job Details Reason for Locum Coverage: Recruitment Gap.
Patients per day: total 80, 1.8 patients per hour for physicians.
Staff Support: APP 12 hours, full ED support with nursing and tech, full radiology, full lab.
Current EHR: Cerner.
Procedures / Skills Required
Adult Outpatient
Pediatric – General Outpatient
Newborn resuscitation
Orthopedic – Non-displaced fractures
Suturing of minor lacerations
Incision & Drainage
Psychiatric – Uncomplicated adult, child/adolescent, geriatric
Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems
Ventilation management – establishing & maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs without pulmonary consultation
Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues
Central Line, Arterial Line
EKG Interpretation
Arthrocentesis, Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis
EM related procedures
Expenses No flights. Travel must align with McLaren/AHSA Travel Policy. No reimbursement for medical staff fees. No lodging booked through third‑party sites (e.g., Expedia, Kayak). McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging.
Rates to Submit Malpractice insurance must be included in rates.
Orientation – ½ of hourly rate for orientation and training.
Holiday – 1.5×
Overtime – 1.5×
Conversion fee –
Site Billing The site uses reverse billing – the provider must clock in/out using DocTime. Timesheets will not be accepted.

Board Certified (IM/FM acceptable with ≥2 years recent ED experience).
