Job Description The Lead Product Manager conceives, develops, delivers, and manages AI products for use across Humana. This individual oversees and manages all phases of the product lifecycle, from design conception to delivery. Projects could include delivering high‑value AI/GenAI use cases or serving as the product manager of AI/GenAI platforms. This associate will need to be delivery‑focused, independent, detail oriented, collaborative, and willing to wear multiple hats to ensure successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with business and IT leaders, and facilitate alignment
Oversee and manage the AI product lifecycle, from design conception to testing to delivery
Define and execute the technical product roadmap
Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, design, product owner and business to translate business strategy into technical requirements and backlog for the AI solution
Develop detailed program plans, milestones and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams
Support testing (UAT)
Support pilot and launch planning, as well as identification and tracking of metrics
Monitor program health metrics and implement corrective actions to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery
Ensure that the final product is of high quality, impactful and meets business strategy
Create and deliver leader communications, including status reports, business reviews and strategic recommendations
Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
5+ years of experience in product management, technical solution development or related function
Proven track record of executing complex, enterprise‑wide AI solutions from inception to production
Hands‑on experience defining and executing product roadmap
Experience turning business strategy into detailed technical requirements and backlogs
Experience in large organizations
Ability to drive progress even during ambiguity and evolve strategies based on emerging needs
Creative problem thinking
Thorough understanding of agile methodologies, values, practices and patterns
Advanced facilitation, influencing, and relationship management skills
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred experiences: data science, engineering, consulting / banking, product management
Understanding of industry trends, best practices and emerging AI technologies
Experience in healthcare
Experience working in agile methodologies and with agile tools, such as Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or Jira Align
Scheduled Weekly Hours 40
Pay Range $126,300 - $173,700 per year
