Job Overview
Physician Practice Enhancement is acquiring new Emergency Medicine programs to oversee.
Locations Secaucus, Bayonne, Jersey City, and Hoboken.
Candidates are expected to cover all four sites.
Job Type & Compensation Full‑time, 12‑hour shifts – day, night, and combination shifts available.
Salary: $230.00 – $240.00 per hour.

Qualifications
Board Eligible/Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Valid unrestricted New Jersey medical license.
Minimum of 2 years' experience.
Experience & Skills
Experience working in a hospital or emergency department setting.
Proficient in performing procedures such as dermabrasion and ventilating patients.
Knowledge of ICD‑9 coding for accurate documentation and billing.
Job Responsibilities
Immediate care: evaluate, diagnose, and stabilize patients with acute conditions; perform procedures such as intubation or fracture reduction.
Triage: prioritize patients based on severity to ensure critical cases receive care first.
Multitasking: manage multiple patients simultaneously, tracking information and treatment plans in a fast‑paced environment.
Consultation: coordinate with other specialists, such as surgeons, for further treatment when needed.
Pre‑hospital care: direct emergency medical technicians (EMTs) in the field to provide care before reaching the hospital.
Key Characteristics
Calm under pressure: remain composed and decisive in stressful situations.
Quick decision‑making: rapidly assess situations and make critical choices to prevent death or further disability.
Strong procedural skills: proficient in both simple repairs (lacerations) and complex emergency interventions (chest tubes).
Adaptable: work with a diverse patient population and varying conditions.
