In partnership with Lindauer, Boston College seeks an
Associate Vice President, Schools, Units, and Organizational Giving
to help guide the University into its next era of philanthropic ambition. This role will serve as the principal strategist and broker of fundraising opportunities across schools, units, athletics, and institutional partners. Reporting to the Vice President for Development, the AVP will join a committed and collaborative University Advancement team working to translate BC’s mission and aspirations into bold fundable concepts that drive transformational impact. In a centralized and consensus‑oriented environment, the AVP will serve as a connector, strategist, and catalyst, helping the institution move big ideas from concept to reality.

In this role, you will:
Develop and direct fundraising strategy for academic priorities, financial aid, student life, mission and ministry, and athletics.
Oversee the creation of fundraising proposals and gift opportunities at the $5M+ level across all schools and units.
Lead and mentor a team of approximately 30 across Schools and Programs, Athletics Development, and Corporate and Foundation Relations.
Partner closely with senior academic and administrative leaders to advance cross‑campus alignment and strategy.
Manage a small portfolio of high‑impact families and donors to secure transformational commitments.
