Brevard County Board of County Commissioners is hiring for a position in Titusville, FL. The salary is $14.00 hourly, with actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The job is full-time and is located within the Brevard County Solid Waste Department. The closing date is continuous.

The role involves experienced service work within the Solid Waste Processing System, operating the master electrical control panel of the push pit rams and compactor, loading tractor-trailers, and monitoring the operation.

Requirements include six (6) months of experience in solid waste operations. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Special requirements include possessing, or obtaining prior to employment, a valid Florida Driver's license and maintaining said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
