Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician at Fusion HealthCare Staffing. We are looking for an OB/GYN to provide coverage in Tacoma, WA, from ASAP through September 30, 2025. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, with responsibilities including routine and complex deliveries, surgical procedures, and gynecological treatments. The ideal candidate will have experience with low- and high-risk pregnancies and be able to work a flexible schedule of two clinic days and one call day each week.
Dates: ASAP – September 30, 2025
Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
Schedule: Flexible (ideal: 2 clinic days, 1 call day per week)
Inpatient and Outpatient
Required Skills: Obstetrics – low- and high-risk pregnancies, OB ultrasounds, routine/complicated deliveries, C-sections, VBACs, breech, multiple births; Office Gynecology – IUD, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.; Surgical Gynecology – minor and major procedures, including ectopic pregnancy and ovary removal
Support Staff: Comprehensive, including RNs, LPNs, MAs, CNMs, and office staff
Trauma Level: III
Certifications: WA license, BLS, Fetal Monitoring (OB relias)
Credentialing Timeframe: 60‑90 days (expedited for clean history)
Hybrid Need: Provider will cover clinic patients at Gig Harbor (Mon‑Fri: 7 am‑5 pm) and take 24‑hour sequestered call at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital
Ideal Schedule: Two clinic days and one call day per week.
Clinic and call are not combined, and the facilities are approximately 15 minutes apart.
