Job Summary HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a PRN Emergency Medicine Physician to join our West Volusia Freestanding Standing Emergency Department in Deland, FL.
Qualified Candidates
Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
Family Medicine and Internal Medicine board certified candidates accepted with 6,000 hours of experience or 3 years of experience immediately prior to coming to HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital
ACLS & PALS required

Brand new free‑standing emergency room with 10 beds plus trauma room opened July 2025
Fully integrated with HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center
Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221‑bed acute‑care hospital and Level II Trauma Center that serves the communities of Seminole and West Volusia counties. The hospital provides the only full‑service cardiovascular program in Seminole and West Volusia, including open heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation and comprehensive diagnostic services. Other specialized services include orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, wound care, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation and complete imaging services.
