HonorHealth, a leading physician‑led nonprofit health system in the thriving Phoenix‑Scottsdale region, is seeking an accomplished Cardiologist with expertise in Advanced Echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) to join its expanding cardiovascular team.

This position offers a unique blend of cardiology and advanced imaging clinical excellence, academic opportunity, and collaborative innovation. The selected physician will work closely with HonorHealths Advanced Structural Heart Program, participating in the TAVR and Structural Heart Boards and supporting precision decision‑making through advanced cardiac imaging.

Cardiac Center of Excellence at HonorHealth Shea Medical Center in desirable North Scottsdale

New State‑of‑the‑art OBL/ASC in 2026 and 20 Cath lab facilities throughout the system

Over 50 employed cardiologists and 20+ aligned partners covering general, interventional, EP, imaging, structural, and advanced heart failure

Multidisciplinary Heart Team and weekly Structural Case Conferences

Active GME programs including fellowships in Cardiology, Interventional, EP, and Vascular Surgery

ASU School of Medicine & Advanced Medical Engineering

Artificial intelligence, simulation, and digital health tools in education and care

Physician‑leaders trained in innovation, design, and system thinking

A nimble, less bureaucratic academic structure focused on impact

Faculty appointments and involvement in undergraduate and graduate medical education may be available commensurate with academic accomplishments and faculty appointments.

Ideal Candidate:

MD or DO, Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease

Advanced training and clinical experience in advanced echocardiography, 3D imaging, and TEE

Skilled in echo‑guidance for structural procedures (e.g., TAVR, TEER, left atrial appendage occlusion)

Strong communicator, collaborative by nature, and comfortable in multidisciplinary settings

Academic interest in imaging research, innovation, and teaching encouraged

Previous involvement in heart team or valve clinic models is desirable

Eligibility for Arizona medical licensure
