We are seeking a

Director of Product

to oversee the

Patient Digital Next portal

and lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the

patient portal – the end‑to‑end kidney platform

that connects care for individuals at every stage of their health journey, ensuring patients are supported at home, in our dialysis centers, and in the hospital.

Patient Digital Next

is a multi-disciplinary

agile

team working on designing and developing innovative

digital health products, services, and solutions .

This is a highly strategic,

high‑visibility leadership role

requiring deep partnership with

Engineering, Data Science, UX, Product Marketing, Sales, Client Success, and Operations .

We are looking for someone who is an expert relationship builder, has a bias toward action, can collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and is obsessed with breaking down complex problems into product solutions.

This position can be remote with up to 25% travel. Strong preference for Hybrid in Denver, CO. Candidates must live in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree

6+ years of experience as a Product Manager or equivalent role in an agile environment, focused on digital products

5+ years of people management with demonstrated experience in hiring, inspiring, and growing a team of high‑performing product managers

Strong executive presence and ability to communicate and influence VP level stakeholders

Experience leading product vision, strategy, outcomes, and value rationalization across multiple focus areas

Experience aligning teams and roadmaps to a product strategy and vision

Proven track record of building exceptional products

Exceptional problem‑solving, organization, communication skills, and ability to get things done despite roadblocks and challenges

Inspire others to care about and understand the "why" behind a solution

Skilled in juggling multiple tasks, prioritizing them effectively, and delivering on tight deadlines

Ability to thrive in an organization that changes quickly

Strong relationship building skills and the ability to partner with technical, clinical, and senior business stakeholders to accomplish goals

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building health tech products

Deep understanding of DaVita's business, healthcare, and product management

Role Responsibilities

Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your Digital Product Team

Define multi‑year product vision and strategy

Translate strategic goals into actionable product roadmaps and prioritize initiatives accordingly

Establish clear, measurable OKRs to track progress and drive outcomes

Gain alignment and buy‑in across multiple executive leaders on approach

Lead strategic execution with a focus on outcomes

Lead a team of Product Managers across multiple product domains, ensuring alignment and coordination across initiatives

Guide teams in prioritizing and delivering high‑impact solutions that create value for both the business and patients

Champion product discovery, partnering closely with research, engineering, and design to validate value, usability, feasibility, and viability

Collaborate with end users, clinical, go‑to‑market, and legal teams to ensure alignment on roadmap priorities, active initiatives, and product launch requirements

Own the outcomes

Regularly analyze product performance, user feedback, and business outcomes to assess progress against goals

Share insights, progress, and learnings with senior executives to inform strategic decisions and gain support

Translate results into compelling, executive‑ready narratives that demonstrate product value and impact

Grow your team

Mentor and develop a high‑performing team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning

Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and support career growth to help each team member reach their full potential

Encourage innovative thinking and experimentation, leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve how we build and deliver products

Champion a modern product development mindset focused on speed, iteration, and user‑centric problem solving

Compensation The Salary Range for the role is $114,000.00 – $181,000.00 per year.
