We are looking for a

Senior Solutions Engineer

to support our growing sales organization and help shape the future of our SAP‑focused software and services portfolio. This role blends deep SAP expertise with consultative pre‑sales leadership, helping customers understand the strategic value of our solutions while enabling internal teams to execute at a high level.

The ideal candidate is an SAP‑competent technologist who excels at positioning value (not just features), navigating complex enterprise accounts, and building trusted relationships across SAP’s ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities Pre‑Sales Leadership

Work with sales team to meet company goals for advisory/assessment services, professional services and managed services across SAP, Data, AI and Cloud offerings.

Lead technical discovery, solution design, and presentations for both software and services opportunities to properly qualify the desired outcome by the customer or prospective customer.

Articulate business value and outcomes in a way that resonates with CIO, IT leadership, and SAP operations stakeholders.

Guide customers through the evaluation process, connecting their priorities to our capabilities.

Lead the development and delivery of responses to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring clear articulation of value and differentiation.

Architect solutions with the assistance of the PMO and delivery organizations.

Partner closely with the advisory team to drive key assessments, workshops, and strategic advisory engagements with prospects and customers.

SAP Expertise & Ecosystem Engagement

Demonstrate strong understanding of SAP landscapes, cloud transformation paths, security considerations, and operational models.

Effectively navigate within SAP's organization, partnering with SAP account teams, AEs, and ecosystem partners.

Maintain (or obtain) relevant SAP and partner certifications required for P.E. Sell and related sales motions.

Sales Enablement

Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to build compelling proposals, demos, and POVs.

Translate product capabilities and services into clear business value for customer‑specific use cases.

Participate in shaping messaging, differentiation, and competitive positioning.

Run ROI assessments.

Marketing Responsibilities

Represent the company at industry events and tradeshows, including staffing booths and engaging prospective customers.

Partner with the BDR team to refine outbound messaging and improve campaign effectiveness.

Develop and deliver compelling presentations for conferences, webinars, and user groups.

Collaborate on the creation and refinement of marketing collateral that supports both software and services sales.

Produce thought‑leadership content, such as whitepapers, blogs, and video briefings, on a consistent basis.

Product & Services Responsibilities

Monitor SAP ecosystem trends, product updates, and emerging market opportunities; provide strategic insight on how we position and differentiate.

Gather customer and prospect feedback, translate it into actionable product enhancement requests, and contribute to roadmap discussions with the product team.

Collaborate closely with the services organization to shape new service offerings that align with customer needs and market demand.

Team Development

Mentor junior pre‑sales administrators and support their development into full pre‑sales roles.

Help build scalable pre‑sales processes, tools, demo environments, and repeatable assets.

Required Qualifications

7+ years in pre‑sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting, in the SAP ecosystem

Strong understanding of SAP Basis, security, cloud hosting models, data (AWS/Azure/GCP), and SAP operational best practices for Cloud ERP (RISE/GROW) and traditional environments. BTP and BDC are a plus.

Experience selling both enterprise software and managed/services offerings.

Proven ability to lead technical conversations while positioning business outcomes and value.

Ability to thrive in fast‑moving environments with evolving products and customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience engaging with SAP AEs, SAP partners, and the broader SAP ecosystem.

Prior experience with P.E. Sell certifications or willingness to obtain them.

Experience supporting RFPs/RFQs, solution architecture reviews, and executive‑level presentations.

Familiarity with modern AI/ML or automation‑driven IT operations solutions (bonus).

Base Salary $160,000—$200,000 USD
