The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and The University of Vermont Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Physiatrist for a full-time position as assistant, associate, or full professor on the clinical scholar pathway.
Responsibilities
Patient care and involvement in resident and medical student teaching Outpatient PM&R with shared weekend and holiday cross-coverage among six current physicians Acute care consultations and outpatient prosthetic/orthotic management Management of spasticity patients, including Botox treatment, spinal cord injury management, general musculoskeletal PM&R, EMG studies, and concussion/TBI management depending on skills/experience Direct collaboration with Orthopaedic colleagues in all specialties Qualifications
Board certified or board eligible physiatrist with interest in comprehensive Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Demonstrated interest in teaching Ability to contribute to diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and/or service Applicants are requested to include in cover letter information about how they will further this goal About the University
