About this role:

Opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN physician to join our Obstetric Hospitalist program at LDS Hospital, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our OB Hospitalists provide care for unassigned patients and coordinate follow-up care. They render services to patients who deliver precipitously or have emergency obstetric conditions that require STAT obstetric care. In a 24-hour shift, the OB Hospitalist can expect to participate in 2-3 deliveries. On a limited basis, this position will include caring for unassigned GYN non-surgical and unstable patients in the Emergency Department. LDS Hospital is home to a 12-bed labor & delivery unit, averaging just under 2,000 deliveries annually. Level II NICU and MFM clinic on site, we also have MFM & Neonatologist support available via telehealth 24/7. Anesthesiologist on site 24/7. Full time, expectation of working 7 24-hour shifts per month. Eligible for a $15,000 signing bonus & up to $20,000 in relocation assistance How we’ll support you:

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one Federal DEA Registration BLS certification Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process About us:
