Skai is seeking a Director of Sales, who will be responsible for growing pipeline and generating net new revenue with mid‑market and emerging clients, and for increasing market share and esteem for Skai. Reporting to the US VP of Sales for Emerging Accounts, you will be expected to meet and exceed revenue goals by planning and executing successful sales campaigns within the world’s biggest brands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive new revenue across assigned Mid‑Market and Emerging accounts
Manage pipeline development, account growth and all forecasting of assigned prospects and clients
Be the Skai sales ambassador to our largest and most notable enterprise clients
Ensure client satisfaction and serve as the brand’s representative to internal constituents
Be an expert in your client’s industry, business needs, challenges and how Skai can be a strong partner
Be an expert, both internally and externally, in understanding Skai products and positioning
Partner with Client Success to ensure successful implementations, customer satisfaction, growth and ongoing partnership with clients
Provide ongoing product feedback to internal stakeholders within our product organization
What you’ll bring to the table:
5+ years of ad‑tech or mar‑tech sales experience, with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals, building pipeline, delivering significant revenue and customer growth
Documented success in retail media, SaaS, digital media, or enterprise software sales, with experience in client‑direct sales and running consultative sales processes in large and complex prospect organizations. Experience presenting to and interacting with senior management of prospect organizations.
Experience as a hunter salesperson, adept at the challenger method who can win net new client pursuits and multi‑thread relationships in the sales process
Understanding of the ad‑tech ecosystem and how agencies and brands use such tools to expand their business
Friendly, caring personality with great relationship‑building skills
Genuine authenticity – a person who will wear Skai’s values on their sleeve
High integrity, smarts and dedication. We seek uncommonly good sales professionals with a highly collaborative, value‑driven, honest, and direct approach to delivering customer success
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to persuade, lead, and confidently handle objections and resolve customer issues
Out‑of‑the‑box thinker – capable of creatively growing and expanding partnerships with our longest‑standing and most successful clients and partners
We are hybrid for the long term – with a great home/office work mix (three days in office per week), passionate and diverse team members, and a vibrant company culture.
The salary range for this position is $110,000 – $135,000 base plus a strong commission plan and equity. The actual salary amount will vary depending on your experience, skills and abilities as well as internal equity and market data.
