Legal Counsel (B2B Legal Team) Our corporate functions support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications, Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability. The B2B Legal Team provides legal support for the Private Label Solutions business, including the Strategic Partnerships and Affiliates portion. EG’s B2B business is a fast‑paced global sales organization offering travel technology supply and solutions to partners worldwide.

This position is part of the Expedia Legal and Corporate Affairs (ELCA) team based in Seattle and reports to a Senior Director of Legal. ELCA is a globally oriented legal team that is proactive, collaborative, and highly respected, where you can work closely with internal clients in an exciting and challenging environment.

In this role, you will:

Act as the primary escalation point for all new business contract requests, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements for sales teams across the AMERs and LATAM regions, as well as amend, terminate and interpret existing agreements

Be responsible for the implementation and development of standard contract forms and their integration into contract management systems

Advise business clients on legal and commercial issues, providing strategic guidance that balances legal risk with business objectives and fosters win‑win solutions

Partner with colleagues in the wider legal team as well as stakeholders in tax, product, customer support and finance teams; sharing findings and feedback to build efficiencies in support of business clients

Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in handling urgent matters and shifting priorities, maintaining high standards of judgment and execution

Experience and Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience at a top regional or national law firm or experience working in a fast‑paced, in‑house legal environment

JD degree

Membership in good standing in at least one state bar (Washington preferred)

A strong background negotiating, reviewing and drafting commercial transactions

Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and work ethic

You have a can‑do attitude and are keen to learn and develop

Track record of establishing strong working relationships with colleagues and business clients

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $130,000 to $182,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $208,000 based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
