Starting Base Salary:
$400,000 + bonuses and comprehensive benefits
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Retina Surgeon to join our growing ophthalmology team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in diagnosing, managing, and treating a full spectrum of retinal and vitreous diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and other complex disorders.
As part of a collaborative, patient-focused environment, you’ll work alongside ophthalmologists, optometrists, and medical staff to deliver exceptional care using advanced diagnostic and surgical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage retinal and vitreous diseases
Perform retinal surgeries, laser treatments, and intravitreal injections
Interpret diagnostic imaging such as OCT and fluorescein angiography
Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
Collaborate with other eye care professionals for coordinated care
Educate patients about diagnoses, procedures, and post-operative care
Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
Stay current with the latest advancements in retinal therapies and technology
Participate in continuing education and clinical research opportunities
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical institution
Board Certification (or eligibility) in Ophthalmology
Completion of a Retina Fellowship (Vitreoretinal Surgery or Medical Retina)
Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
Proficiency in advanced retinal diagnostics and microsurgical techniques
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
High attention to detail and precision
