C3F Senior BMD Operations Manager - Post Command
Sigma Defense Systems LLC is seeking a former Senior Surface Warfare Officer with extensive Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and technical management experience to fill this position as part of the Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) at the U.S. Third Fleet.
Pay range is provided by Sigma Defense Systems LLC:
$120,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr . Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute BMD/IAMD operations and training for the Tactical Training Group Pacific.
Configure, operate, and maintain BMD training systems, including live virtual training.
Support tactical training of ships through Fleet Synthetic Training (FST).
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience with capabilities and limitations of AEGIS weapons system baselines.
At least 5 years of experience with Fleet and Theater Air Defense Commander IAMD publications for BMD certifications and sustainment exercises.
Completed a Surface Commander Command tour or 7 years at the warfare commander staff level planning and executing BMD/IAMD operations or training.
Qualified AEGIS BMD Tactical Action Officer or similar Air Defense qualification.
Experience preparing materials and briefs to executive level audiences.
Experience supporting planning or execution of BMD operations or exercises.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Security Clearance
Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Top Secret security clearance.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.
