Your work will directly support economic vitality, public safety, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate the work of single or multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle (from development & initiation to close‑out).
Manage large, multidisciplinary projects or medium‑sized projects with high technical complexity, involving a large project staff.
Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
Establish and maintain client relations, and engage in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in collaboration with staff and stakeholders.
Coordinate staffing and workload throughout the project life cycle, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule.
Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to stay within agreed‑to budget and schedule.
Work with Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
Implement QA/QC procedures.
Supervise large project staffs and mentor less‑experienced Project Managers.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree.
PMP certification.
Preference for local candidates.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
10 years of related experience.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position (PE or P.Eng).
MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience is a plus).
Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills.
