$496,000 - $516,000

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center, the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA, is seeking a

Critical Care Anesthesiologist

to join a hybrid position that includes staffing the Surgical Intensive Care Units and the Operating Rooms at UMass Memorial Medical Center. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as the top choice in the region.

In the operating rooms, you will be able to care for patients presenting for:

Vascular, Thoracic, Neurological, Orthopedic, OB‑Gyn, ENT, Laparoscopic Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Transplant, major Trauma Surgery, and optionally participate in the Liver Transplant team for suitable candidates.

The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine is home to a fully integrated Residency Training Program with 11 residents per class, and two Critical Care Fellowship positions.

You will supervise CRNAs in an anesthesia care team model.

You will have opportunities to participate in education and medical simulation, QI work, and research.

The Anesthesia Team conducts an average of 60,000 anesthetics per year across the surgical and procedural areas of UMass Memorial Health.

Must hold an MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license

Be board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology

Fellowship trained in Critical Care Anesthesiology
