Overview
At the Brydon Group, we accelerate the trajectory of outstanding mid‑career operators who want to become CEOs and build and grow industry‑leading platforms with private equity support, resources and capital.
Brydon CEO‑in‑Residence (CIR) Program
We invest equity to support you during a two‑year sourcing phase.
We look to invest $25–30M of equity (+ additional debt) behind each platform between the initial equity check and add‑on acquisitions.
Requirements
Partner with CIRs or CIR teams who have operating and/or industry experience, typically 5–12 years out of business school or equivalent.
Industry‑focus theses win: applicants submit sub‑industries or expand upon Brydon's core theses (vertical market software, regulatory & compliance services, technical services, healthcare services, etc.) based on their backgrounds.
Examples of suitable candidates:
Partner at a consulting firm with deep experience in a sub‑industry and interest in operating/building equity value.
Worked on a PE‑backed roll‑up and sees a similar opportunity.
Ran a P&L or served as General Manager in a vertical with strong domain knowledge.
Thesis‑based acquisition approach? If you have a niche or angle, let us know.
No industry thesis? We have opportunities in Vertical SaaS, GovTech, B2B Services, Healthcare/Healthcare Tech, Targeted Roll‑Ups, Compliance/Regulatory Software & Services.

Program Structure & Support
Week of intensive training in the Caribbean focusing on sourcing, CRM best practices, and due diligence.
Encourage CIRs to focus sourcing efforts where they want to live.
Weekly one‑on‑ones, cohort calls, quarterly in‑person off‑sites around the US to build connections and share insights.
Access to Brydon team’s deal‑sourcing engine and dedicated investment team; up to half of deals sourced by Brydon.
Playbooks and best practices from large‑cap PE applied across sourcing, diligence, closing, and operating.
On average, CIRs reach LOI or CEO seat within a year.
Application Process
Submit application by January 19th, 2026 at 11:59 pm PST; early applications encouraged; offers made by early March.
Selected individuals undergo multiple interview rounds, including in‑person sessions with Brydon leadership and a final thesis presentation.
CEO‑in‑Residence offers made in March; cohort start date May 12, 2026 in the Bahamas.
