Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP (WRA) is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Process Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Baltimore, MD. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career with a firm that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and analysis of water and wastewater treatment processes and mechanical systems.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for pumping stations, treatment facilities, and related infrastructure.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.
  • Support senior engineers in project development, permitting, and construction administration.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fluid dynamics. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit or other modeling software is a plus. 
  • Relevant internship experience required for new graduates
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
  • Passing grade on the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or EIT preferred

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $72,000.00 - $97,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
