Position Overview
The Warehouse and Custodian Manager at NTI Technologies is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, inventory management, and custodial functions in the office. This role ensures that materials, equipment, and the warehouse are well‑organized, maintained, and operated efficiently to support staging and parts on hand requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory control.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using company systems and perform regular audits.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Coordinate with procurement and dispatch to ensure timely delivery and distribution of materials.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems for efficiency and safety.
- Manage equipment such as fiber splicer, drills, ladders, and hand tools.
- Perform all custodial duties to ensure all areas of the company office are clean, safe, and well‑maintained.
- Develop and implement cleaning and maintenance schedules for the office and equipment.
- Manage maintenance of restrooms, break area, and offices.
- Oversee waste management, recycling programs, and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, deep cleaning, and specialized maintenance services.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Inventory Management, Warehousing, and Logistics processes
- Experience in Leadership, Team Supervision, and Staff Management
- Ability to oversee Custodial Operations and maintain workspaces to high cleanliness standards
- Proficiency in Organization, Scheduling, and Supply Chain Coordination
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance and workplace safety regulations
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle operational challenges effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in warehouse or facilities management is highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field is a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required
