Compensation: $33–$38 per hour
A leading Boston-based investment management firm with a multi-billion-dollar portfolio is seeking a Temp-to-Perm Administrative Assistant to join its Administrative Support team. The firm invests across public and private markets, real estate, and private equity, serving families, foundations, endowments, and employees. This individual will play a key role in providing professional front desk coverage, high-level administrative support, and seamless coordination of office activities within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities Manage daily front desk operations, including welcoming visitors, coordinating guest access, handling inbound calls, and overseeing conference room scheduling.
Deliver consistent, high-quality administrative support across the organization.
Partner with internal stakeholders to maintain smooth and efficient office operations.
Assist in planning and executing meetings, conferences, and firm-wide events.
Support process improvement efforts by identifying efficiencies and assisting with workflow documentation.
Serve as a professional representative of the firm, contributing positively to team culture and overall office environment.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 2–4 years of relevant administrative experience in a corporate setting.
Prior front desk or reception experience strongly preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, clients, and guests.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience improving workflows or administrative processes.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Teams, with advanced Excel skills; experience with calendar management and virtual meeting platforms is a plus.
Reliable, flexible, enthusiastic team player with a strong client-service mindset.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Full-time, on-site position.
