Client Feedback: Expertise in Power distribution and Cable harness are mandatory
EXPERIENCE Minimum 4-7 years of experience in the field of Electrical cable harness design.
Preferred: Schematic design, component selection, component layout review and update, harness design, cable design and management for high voltage, low voltage, communication, and fiber optic cables.
EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION Bachelor's / master's degree in electrical engineering.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Own complete product cable harness design from concept to manufacturing, including stakeholder interactions for signoff.
Hands-on experience in component selection (cables, wires, connectors, and harness accessories).
Experience in power budget and load calculation.
Expert in electrical component selection.
Design harnesses for PDU, Racks, and process equipment.
Design electrical schematics and system-level interconnect diagrams.
Understand high-level system requirements and provide workable solutions.
Work independently with minimal guidance.
Good knowledge of electro-mechanical component selection.
Knowledge of interlock cable design.
Familiarity with compliance standards such as NFPA, CE, SEMI S2, S8.
Understanding of GD&T.
Knowledge of cable manufacturing processes.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Knowledge of engineering change order (ECO) processes.
Knowledge of clean room and SEMI standards is an added advantage.
