(Software Engineer) is a key member of the Software Engineering team supporting the Headquarters, U.S. Central Command J6 mission. This role involves designing web infrastructure, developing and maintaining software applications, web applications, web services, and APIs. The developer conducts code analysis, collaborates with subject matter experts, and handles planning, design, development, and technical support. Responsibilities include determining user needs, programming, and ensuring development meets software standards and security compliance. Designing and developing web services and web-based applications based on custom user requirements. Developing web solutions using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and adhering to security compliance standards. Performing troubleshooting of applications, infrastructure integration, and active directory authentication with IIS servers. Developing and deploying applications via CI/CD pipelines, leveraging cloud-based deployment for performance optimization. Creating and troubleshooting stored procedures for SQL Server and Azure SQL databases. Managing scheduled operations and maintaining web server security compliance. Required Skills/Qualifications:

Experience developing cloud applications, preferably with Azure Cloud and migration experience. Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#.NET, JavaScript, MVC, JSON, JQuery, HTML5, and CSS3. Strong experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and T-SQL. Understanding of OAuth in ASP.Net Core for security. Experience with Azure DevOps or GitLab for CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively. Experience with service desk ticketing and escalation processes. Knowledge of DoD security requirements is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience and certifications. At least 5 years of experience as a web or cloud developer or software engineer. CompTIA certification for DoD 8570 compliance is required.
