Job Overview We are seeking an experienced
Cloud Engineer
to design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure—primarily on
AWS , with additional exposure to
Azure
or
GCP
considered a strong plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong security-first mindset, deep experience in infrastructure as code (IaC), and a collaborative approach to supporting development and DevOps teams in building modern cloud-native platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and implementation of AWS cloud environments tailored to business needs and aligned with security and compliance standards.
Provide technical guidance to development and operations teams on cloud architecture best practices.
Security Architecture
Design and implement robust security controls in AWS, ensuring protection of data and infrastructure.
Drive secure configuration of cloud resources including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, and vulnerability management.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Build and manage cloud infrastructure using
Terraform
and/or
CloudFormation , enabling consistent, repeatable, and scalable deployments.
Integrate infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines and operational workflows.
Scripting & Automation
Automate infrastructure and application deployments using
Python ,
Bash ,
Git ,
Jenkins ,
PowerShell , and other scripting tools.
Develop self-healing and auto-scaling solutions to improve system resilience and reduce manual effort.
DevOps and CI/CD Support
Operate within a DevOps ecosystem, supporting CI/CD processes, containerization, and automated security testing (DAST/SAST).
Collaborate with development teams to streamline release cycles and ensure secure deployments.
Monitoring and Reliability
Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting strategies for cloud workloads using native AWS tools and third-party platforms.
Support incident response and root cause analysis for cloud infrastructure-related issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with application developers, security engineers, and platform teams to support end-to-end delivery.
Participate in platform architecture discussions and long-term cloud strategy planning.
Required Qualifications
7+ years
of experience in cloud engineering, including
multi-cloud environments
with a strong focus on
AWS .
Solid experience in
infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation)
and
scripting languages
(Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and GitLab.
Proficiency in
Docker/Kubernetes , cloud networking, and container orchestration.
Strong grasp of
cloud security practices , IAM, encryption, and data protection.
Exposure to
DevSecOps , including vulnerability scanning and remediation workflows.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.) and alerting strategies.
Experience with
cloud-native data services
such as
Databricks, AWS Glue, EMR, Athena, and Data Lake .
Nice to Have
Experience with
distributed systems ,
Linux ,
CDNs ,
HTTP/TCP/IP fundamentals , and
SQL/database administration .
Familiarity with
REST APIs , microservices architecture, and serverless computing models.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science ,
Information Technology , or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as:
