Job Summary The General Manager oversees operational, financial, and quality performance across assigned specialty sites, serving as the primary leader for staff, providers, and patients while ensuring efficient workflows and KPI achievement.

Operations & Workflows

Manage day‑to‑day front desk, clinical, and administrative operations across specialty sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Conduct site visits to identify bottlenecks, optimize patient flow, and implement process improvements.

Staff Leadership

Supervise front desk staff, clinical assistants/MAs, and site leads; monitor performance against KPIs and implement improvement plans as needed.

Partner with supervisors to deliver training, audits, and mentoring for all staff levels.

Access & Scheduling

Oversee scheduling, insurance verification, copay collection, and referral workflows to maximize provider capacity and reduce no‑shows.

Ensure provider schedules meet capacity targets and identify opportunities for additional sessions.

Clinical Operations

Ensure consistent execution of triage, lab/diagnostic workflows, specimen handling, and procedure support across sites.

Maintain compliant, well‑stocked clinical environments with proper room turnover and sterilization protocols.

Analytics & Quality

Generate operational reports and conduct chart audits to monitor compliance, documentation quality, and KPI performance.

Analyze trends in denials, open orders, and patient outreach; implement corrective actions when targets are missed.

Financial Management

Manage site budgets including payroll, supplies, and operating costs; process bi‑weekly payroll and track PTO.

Review revenue cycle reports and collaborate with billing teams to resolve denial patterns.

Supply & Facilities

Order and track supplies via inventory systems while meeting budget targets; coordinate maintenance and equipment needs.

Communication

Lead staff meetings to share policy updates and performance results; collaborate with specialty directors and providers on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field

3–5 years in outpatient/ambulatory operations, preferably multi‑site specialty experience

Proven track record managing teams and driving KPI performance

Proficiency with EHR/practice management systems and revenue cycle concepts
